Bobby Brown and Alicia Etheridge have finally set a date after a two-year-engagement (Brown proposed two years ago this month). Brown recently announced a special Father's Day show in Honolulu, Hawaii with his band New Edition. He'll be mixing business with pleasure on the trip and saying "I do" to his long-term girlfriend -- the couple have a little boy together also. 

 

Though, we don't have all details about the venue or the vibe of the wedding, our best guess is that it will be low-key. Following the death of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, just months ago, the destination nuptials will probably be family-oriented and intimate, but still loads of the fun -- we just wish we could be there for him to sing "My Perogative!"

Is Angelina Trying to Gain Weight Before the Wedding?

Rumor has it that the waif-like bride-to-be is planning on not shedding before the wedding -- in fact, she might be doing the opposite. A source has said that Brad Pitt has asked Angelina to put on a few pounds -- quite contrary to the typical fitness plan of most brides -- to closer resemble the curvier figure she had when the two met on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, reports OK! Magazine and Hollywood Life.

 

The source went on to say that Angelina has "finally accepted that maybe she looks too thin… She’s decided she’d like a more shapely figure when she ties the knot." To add to the rumors, the couple has reportedly hired celebrity chef Jamie Oliver to hand over some hearty-yet-healthy recipes that'll stick to Jolie's ribs. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Renew Their Vows in Paris

Celebrity couples love their extravagant annual vow renewals, and Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are no different. Last Friday, the pair exchanged vows for the fourth time, celebrating with an "intimate ceremony after a romantic dinner at the beautiful Jules Verne restaurant," says the couple's spokesperson.

 

However intimate the ceremony was, the publicity has been less-than-quiet, with the couple posing for a photo-op and getting gussied up in a mermaid-style white dress for her and a white tux for him. An authentic display of true love, or a quick attempt to get back in the spotlight? We'll never know for sure.

After seven years and six kids together, it's finally official -- and we've got the dish on everything you need to know (and probably much more) on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's engagement. From dress predictions to the location, keep reading for the latest details developing in Hollywood's much-anticipated nuptials:

 

You didn't think we'd leave you hanging at the ring, did you? Rumors are abuzz that Jolie will walk down the aisle in L 'Wren Scott -- and judging from the screen siren's past award show looks, we can totally envision her in one of Scott's signature sultry film noir-inspired dresses. Other potential designers? We're thinking a few of of Jolie's red carpet favorites, including Jenny Packham, Elie Saab and Versace.

 

As for the ceremony, this isn't Kim and Kris, so don't expect a widely broadcasted TV special with thousands of guests in tow. In fact, we hear that the couple is planning their "intimate and informal" nuptials in the South of France, hidden away from the paparazzi. With an influential hand in charity work, we wouldn't be surprised if the two have guests donate to one of their favorite causes in lieu of gifts. Rumor also has it that Jolie's brother, James Haven, is set to be the couple's officiant. Hopefully, there won't be any awkward family kisses this time around...

 

No word on an exact date yet, so a majority of the juicy details are still under wraps. "It's a promise for the future, and their kids are very happy," said Pitt's manager Cynthia Pett-Dante.

Bling Battle: How Do Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston's Engagement Rings Compare?

 

After the big reveal, it's no surprise that the paparrazi were so quick to snap photos of Angelina Jolie's dazzler at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art last week. Experts say the actress's ring, complete with an emerald-cut center stone and large side stones that circle her finger, could weigh in at more than 10 carats total. Wowzer!

 

So how does this rock compare to the one Pitt gave to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston? In 1999, he proposed to Aniston with a ring he also helped to design with his then jeweler Silvia Damiani. While Jolie dons a more sleek, structured stone, Aniston's stunner was modeled after the symbol of eternity and featured a more classic round brilliant stone surrounded by three rows of 20 spiraling diamonds.

 

Both, certainly eye-popping, have a unique aesthetic in shape and size, but Aniston's ring had an estimated worth of $500,000, while Jolie's is said to have a whopping price tag ranging between $250,000 and $1 million. You be the judge!

Are all those rumors finally coming true?

 

After Angelina Jolie was spotted with some serious left-handed bling at an event Wednesday night, a rep for celebrity jeweler Robert Procop has now confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that he designed Jolie’s engagement ring -- in collaboration with Brad Pitt!

 

"Brad had a specific vision for this ring," Procop told The Hollywood Reporter. "He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suite [sic] Angelina's hand. Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution."

 

Jolie, 36, and Pitt, 48, who share six children together, have in the past brushed off rumors of marriage. "Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," Pitt has told Esquire.

 

Though the engagement hasn't (yet) been confirmed by the long-term couple (maybe they don't want to seem like flip-floppers), it looks like this time the A-list duo might finally be ready to make it official. Stay tuned for the latest!

You know that green emerald Halle Berry's been sporting on her ring finger? That's not just a fashion statement -- it's for real! Over the weekend, at Olivier Martinez' restaurant opening, the French actor put all the rumors to rest and confirmed that he's engaged to Berry, reports DailyMail.co.uk.

The green sparkler was designed by a Parisian jeweler (tres romantic!). The hunky Frenchman and the bombshell have been dating publicly for several months. No wedding plans have yet been announced, but stay tuned for the latest!

Is Snooki Engaged?

Is a Jersey Shore wedding in the works? After reports surfaced last week that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is pregnant, the reality-star, 24, now appears to also be planning a walk down the aisle.

 

Snooki, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jionni LaValle later this year, was photographed Monday sporting some serious bling on her ring-finger.

 

The diamond, which looks to be a pink square-cut design, helped to fuel rumors spun earlier this week when a source confirmed that LaValle had indeed popped the question.

 

Talks of tying the knot is nothing new for the tanned duo; "I know he's the one so I know the ring's gonna come soon,” Snooki told People less than two months ago. “He knows it should be big, cuz if it's small I'm saying no. Like, 'Get another ring!' "

 

We think Snooki will be happy with this one.

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa Engaged!

Model Amber Rose and rapper Wiz Khalifa are now engaged, reports Us Weekly.

The couple set the Twitter world abuzz Thursday morning when both tweeted pics of Rose’s gorgeous oval-shaped diamond.

“He has made me the Happiest Woman in the World!!!!” Rose gushed. Khalifa confirmed his excitement on Twitter: “She Said Yes!!!”

Rose, 28, and Grammy-nominated artist Khalifa, 24, started dating just over a year ago, following Rose’s infamous 2010 breakup with Kanye West.

The couple has been anything but private about their relationship.  At the Grammy Awards last month (when Khalifa lost out to West for best rap song) Rose implied to E! that marriage was in the future. “We want to get married. We’re just taking our time.”

The duo tweeted cute-sy shout-outs to each other throughout the day on Thursday. “Love Is Everywhere,” Khalifa wrote, with Rose later announcing, “This is the happiest Day of my Life #LoveisBeautiful.”
